G-Type Machining SystemsAll
Kingsbury modular multi-station machining systems are designed
with a double roll Geneva Index drive unit, fast index time,
and are designed for easy accessibility and maintenance. G-Type
systems are available with a horizontal index.
Of all Kingsburys, this type is used most often used for high production work. Automatic operating units are positioned on the base of the machine, accurately and securely located in tee-slots. With some models, units are positioned on wings, knees, or decks attached to the base. Where vertical machining operations are called for, units are set on knees mounted on top of the base. Internal or external sumps are available. Index drives operate by Geneva index in a clockwise direction. The operator must depress two control buttons simultaneously to activate the index cycle and feed trip. Four index units in 8 diameters are available. |
