INFORMATION

Kingsbury Center Column machines are designed to perform more operations and handle larger work pieces than horizontal index type machines. Besides larger index tables, a center column supports up to seventeen vertical units. The center column makes it easier to position units at compound angles off the vertical while maintaining accuracy. Up to 12 indexing stations can be accommodated.
A dual-roller Geneva index drive provides positive, efficient indexing. Vertical operating units are mounted in tee-slots on the center column. Horizontal and angular units are mounted on wing bases attached to themachine base.
Mounting units in this manner allows easy access to tools. Extra vertical units may also be mounted on knees set on wing bases or decks.
