Kwik-Grip (Quick Change) Type Floating Tap or Reamer Holder
The
"Kwik-Grip" floating tap holders have the "Kwik-Grip" float sleeve
which allows for fast insertion and removal of taps. The quickest
and easiest way to change taps.
The Glenco "Kwik-Grip" floating tool holders are ideal for multiple
heads, automatics, hand screw machines, transfer type equipment or
any other tapping operation.
To change taps the Glenco way, just pull the operatiing collar forward,
remove tap, insert replacement and release the operating collar. That's
it! Change taps that fast!
The tap is acurately centered, firmly gripped on shank and driven
by the square for positive drive. The heavier the load, the tighter
it holds.
Lines up automatically under load. Provides unrestricted float, corrects
misalignment within 1/32" radius (more on the larger size holders).
Operates perfectly in any position. A seperate holder is required
for each tap size.
Some models in stock, most with 3-5 week delivery. All models also
available with tension, compression and coolant through options.
