Type LX "Spring Collet" Floating Tap Holder and Floating Reamer Holder

LX Collet or Spring Collet Float Sleeve + ACME adjustable Holder Shank
The LX Collet or Spring Collet Type floating tap holders and reamer holders have a float sleeve to receive interchangeable LX tap and reamer collets. This allows the holder to be used with a multitude of different tool shank sizes by simply replacing the LX collet in the tool sleeve.
The Glenco LX Collet floating tool holders are ideal for applications requiring different tool shank sizes, such as different hole sizes within a family of parts, on multiple heads, automatics, hand screw machines, transfer type equipment or any other tapping and reaming operation.
To change tools, just remove the retaining nut and pull the tool out, or change the collet for a different size tool, and replace the retaining nut.
The tap or reamer is acurately centered, firmly gripped on shank by the collet and driven by the square for positive drive.
